Refund & Return Policy

At Refrigelle, we stand behind the quality of our refrigerants. However, due to the hazardous nature and purity standards of our products, we strictly adhere to the following return guidelines.

1. Return Window

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return. If 30 days have passed since your delivery, we unfortunately cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

2. Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must be **unused** and in the same condition that you received it.
Factory Seal: The safety seal on the cylinder valve must be **intact and unbroken**.
Original Packaging: The item must be in its original box (if applicable).
Non-Returnable Items: We cannot accept returns on cylinders that have been opened, connected to a manifold, or have broken seals. This is to ensure the purity and safety of our inventory for all customers.

3. Return Shipping & Hazmat Regulations

Customer Responsibility: You are responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item, unless the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong item sent).
Hazmat Warning: Our products are classified as Hazardous Materials (Compressed Gas). You cannot ship these via air services. You must ship via Ground service. Please ensure the package retains its original Hazmat labels (Class 2.2 non-flammable gas diamond).
Recommendation: We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

4. Restocking Fees

Due to the weight of the products and the regulatory inspection required upon return, a 15% Restocking Fee will be deducted from your refund amount for all non-defective returns.

5. Damaged or Defective Items

If you received a damaged product (e.g., dented cylinder affecting the valve, empty tank due to leak in transit):
1. Take clear photos of the damage and the shipping box.
2. Contact us immediately at (562) 285-5695 or support@refrigelle.com.
3. We will arrange for a replacement or a full refund at no cost to you.

6. Refund Process

Once your return is received and inspected by our warehouse team:
1. We will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item.
2. We will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund based on the condition of the cylinder seal.
3. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 5-7 business days.
